Tyler Walker is back at Nottingham Forest and he is raring to go., declaring that he has done what he has needed to do on loan to earn a recall back to the club.
The striker with Walker, son of Forest legend Des, netting an impressive 14 goals in 28 games on his sixth loan spell away from the City Ground.
Sabri Lamouchi has opted to recall the 23-year-old, with Walker now set to compete with January signing Nuno da Costa and star forward Lewis Grabban up front.
Forest are third in the Championship with 17 games remaining and are only four points off Leeds United in top spot.
The City Ground faithful are pleased to see Walker back at the Reds and most of the social media chat instead of buying another forward.
Now Walker wants to do his bit to justify what is being said about the decision to bring him home.
"I'm obviously delighted," he told club media.
"I'm really happy to be back, the club are pushing for promotion and I'm looking forward to being a part of it.
"I've really enjoyed my time on loan, I feel; like I've done what I needed to do to come back and help out and now I am looking forward to scoring goals for Forest.
"I am delighted that they (the fans) have shown such love and I am really happy and I hope I can repay that faith."
Walker, an England Under-20 international, has made 38 career appearances for the Reds scoring six goals.
