Nottingham Forest midfielder Liam Bridcutt has completed a transfer deadline day move to Lincoln City.
The 30-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, before returning to the City Ground earlier this month.
He will now spend the rest of the campaign with the League One Imps.
Bolton had hoped to re-sign Bridcutt, after he made 12 appearances for the club, with manager Keith Hill having stated he was “always welcome back here”.
But it is Lincoln who have won the race for his signature, having only yesterday seen striker Tyler Walker recalled early from his loan spell by the Reds.
Bridcutt joined Forest in the summer of 2017, but his last appearance in the Garibaldi came in the October of the following year.
He joins Luke Steele in making a deadline day exit, with the goalkeeper having returned to Millwall on loan earlier today.
