Doncaster vs Sunderland team news as Phil Parkinson makes three changes

Phil Parkinson made three changes to the side that drew against Bolton on Boxing Day, but stuck with the same 3-4-3 formation.

Joel Lynch returned to the side in place of the injured Tom Flanagan on the left side of the back three.

And George Dobson returned from suspension to take the place of Grant Leadbitter in midfield.

Chris Maguire replaced Duncan Watmore on the right side of the front three.

Leadbitter and Watmore were both included on the bench.

Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Moore made one change to the side that won at Peterborough on Boxing Day.

He brought in former Newcastle United man James Coppinger in place of Ben Sheaf.

Former Sunderland defender Reece James was named amongst the subs.
