Republican candidate Donald Trump thought it would be a good idea to host a Twitter Q&A, encouraging his followers to ask him sensible, policy-related questions.
Naturally, social media users had other ideas.
Answering questions live from Twitter’s offices in New York City, Mr Trump instead faced questions on topics ranging from his hair to the alternative meaning of his surname in Britain.

He also addressed one users’ concern over an injury sustained by American Football player, Tony Romo who plays for the Dallas Cowboys. Mr Trump said his injury was a “terrible thing for the Dallas Cowboys” however their “defence is excellent”.
