Donald Trump's Leeds United blunder as fans urge Marcelo Bielsa to consider Robin Koch change

Here is your Leeds United morning digest for Monday, November 16.

Bizarre Trump Leeds Twitter blunder

A Leeds supporter was accidentally tagged in a tweet from the soon-to-be outgoing President of the United States, Donald Trump.

Trump criticised Fox for inviting Pete Buttigieg - mayor of South Bend, Indiana - onto their channel as a guest.

The controversial president nicknamed Buttigieg: Alfred E Neuman, due to his resemblance to the Mad Magazine mascot.

Then, very bizarrely, Trump tagged a Leeds fan with a Twitter name close to Neuman's when ranting about it on the social media platform.

Fans urge Bielsa for Koch change

Leeds supporters have urged Marcelo Bielsa to make a key Robin Koch change following his latest performance for the Germany national team.

Koch has endured a tricky spell at Elland Road over the last few weeks, but for Joachim Low's team, he rediscovered his form against Ukraine in a 3-1 win, whilst playing in a defensive midfield role.

The Whites defender played a big role in Timo Werner's first goal of the game after finding Leon Goretzka - who set the Chelsea forward up.

One fan tweeted: "If Phillips is out and Llorente plays at CB, this could be a good role for Koch." - whilst another supporter said: "He had a good pass last night. Imo, CDM is better than CB for him."

Leeds could unleash Gelhardt

Leeds may have to use new signing Joe Gelhardt as the fixture list gets busier over the Christmas period.

Due to injuries and suspensions that may occur even more as we go into December, Bielsa may have to properly stretch his squad in order to give the Whites the best chance of succeeding in the Premier League.

They may turn to Gelhardt - who was signed from Wigan Athletic over the summer - as he shows some brilliant form for Leeds U23s.

The 18-year-old was very impressive in the young Whites' defeat to Newcastle United, after scoring a goal and an assist, and if he continues to shine for the academy, then it may tempt Bielsa to include him in a few matchday squads for the senior side.
