Donald Trump portrait displayed on Dublin urinal

Donald Trump might have called for a statue of himself to be built in Washington DC but he is likely to be rather less pleased with the shrine to him which has appeared in Ireland.

A newly-opened pub in Dublin chose to plaster a photo of the Republican presidential candidate across its urinal.

“I just felt that it was a way for some people to express their feelings towards Mr Trump's views and to make their trip to the bathroom a 'wee' bit more entertaining,” Tony McCabe, the manager of Adelphi Pub, explained to Entertainment.ie.

But the pub explained the photo would be removed if the mogul-turned-politico were to become President. “If he is elected by the people of the United States, we will take it down immediately as we feel it would then be disrespectful to the American people".

The pub said they hadn't received any complaints about the urinal's new look and instead gained a warm reception from fans and were open to suggestions for sprucing up the ladies toilet.

The pub is not the only place to incorporate Mr Trump into their urinals. The District Stop nightclub in Winnipeg in Canada placed a urinal in the middle of a mural of Mr Trump where his mouth should be. The painting also includes some of Mr Trump’s choice quotes.
