Donald Trump only appeared on Home Alone 2 after 'bullying' his way into cameo role

Chris Columbus, the director of Home Alone, has revealed that US President Donald Trump “bullied” his way into his cameo role in the 1992 sequel Lost In New York.

Trump can only be seen briefly in the film as he appears alongside star Macaulay Culkin in a scene in the lobby of the Plaza Hotel in New York City, which he owns.

Columbus revealed that they had initially offered Mr Trump a fee for use of the hotel but he bargained with the film makers saying: “The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie.”

Columbus told Insider: “People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen, so I said to my editor, ‘Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience.’ But he did bully his way into the movie.”

Donald Trump lost the US Presidential election to former Vice President Joe Biden last week.

After being in denial about losing, he has appeared to concede that  Joe Biden  has beaten him.

A tweet by the outgoing leader admitted Biden had "won", but only because the election was "rigged"

Biden, who was President Obama's vice  president, defeated Trump this month after the most divisive campaign in history.

Despite media outlets and senior Republicans calling it for Biden, Trump has for days refused to concede.

He made baseless claims about election fraud and various legal challenges have come to nothing.

In a tweet today, he appeared for the first time to admit that Biden had been successful:

"He won because the Election was Rigged. NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!."

However, less than two hours later, he tweeted again: "He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!."
