Donald Trump Jr has made a ridiculous claim about George Floyd’s mural and is being mercilessly mocked accordingly.

After the mural in Ohio depicting Floyd was struck by lighting, causing bricks to be blown out, the former President’s son suggested that a “higher power” rather than “weather” was behind it and added that he was a builder and had never heard of something like it happening before.

He said:

The mural, which was painted last July by artist David Ross to commemorate Floyd, was destroyed during a huge storm. It might be time for the whole Trump family to have a break from Twitter.
