Donald Trump is okay with being called a fascist by only this Democratic socialist

Fascists don’t really like being called fascists, but it seems like this president of a famous nation, who goes by a dictator during the weekdays and a serial golf player during the weekend, does. Yes, I am talking about United States President Donald Trump, who was all smiles on Friday, November 21, 2025, when his enemy turned friend (maybe?) Zohran Mamdani called him a fascist or at least admitted to him being one. If you looked closer, you could almost see him kicking his feet under the table with excitement at that comment.

Before Friday, many people were curious about how Donald Trump’s meeting with Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani would go, given that the two had been clawing at each other for the past couple of months on social media and in front of the press. However, when the two appeared before the press following their meeting on Friday, the unimaginable happened. Donald Trump was all smiles about Zohran Mamdani, showering heaps of praise on him, was not interrupting him when he spoke like he always does, and even adoringly looked at him the way he has never looked at his own party members (JD Vance is probably crying in a corner), all while Mamdani stood his ground, continued to reiterate the promises he made to New York citizens during his election campaign, and expressed the same views he did during the campaign.

The press obviously took this once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity to throw questions at Donald Trump and Zohran Mamdani, some important, some weird, and some a bit problematic. Among the questions asked during the interaction was one where a reporter asked if Zohran Mamdani stands by his previous comments about Donald Trump being a fascist, to which he started his answer by saying, “I have spoken about…” only to be interrupted by Trump, who uttered, “That’s okay, you can just say yes,” (while having the brightest smile on his face). Mamdani then said, “Alright, yeah,” followed by Trump saying, “It’s easier than explaining. I don’t mind”, while he patted his arm.

The incident has triggered a fury of memes on social media, with people asking Zohran Mamdani to spill the secrets of their meeting, curious as to how he was able to get Donald Trump to cave in and give him a 360-degree personality change with just one interaction.
