A caddie appeared to be holding on for dear life as Donald Trump drove across a golf course in Virginia at the weekend.
Even though there was enough room for two people in the cart, the president was seen speeding across the green with an assistant clinging to the back.
Before taking part in a golf session Mr Trump tweeted that the sport was his "exercise" despite using an electric vehicle to travel between the holes.
In a tweet White House NBC journalist Kelly O'Donnell said the green is the only place the president gets to drive himself.
In the footage Mr Trump, who is wearing a red cap, is seen driving the buggy.
As he follows the undulating path, the vehicle moves to the left and a caddy can be seen gripping the rear end in a bent position.
After the president pulls to a halt, the helper quickly disembarks and presents a club to Mr Trump before he tees off.
Mr Trump took to Twitter to speak about his exercise regime and stated that former President Barack Obama played "much longer" on the course.
"I know many in business and politics that work out endlessly, in some cases to a point of exhaustion," he said.
"It is their number one passion in life, but nobody complains. My 'exercise' is playing, almost never during the week, a quick round of golf. Obama played more and much longer...."
He added in another tweet: " When I play, fake news CNN, and others, park themselves anywhere they can to get a picture, then scream 'President Trump is playing golf'.
"Actually, I play VERY fast, get a lot of work done on the golf course, and also get a “tiny” bit of exercise. Not bad!"
Social media users were quick to respond with one claiming that Mr Obama played a lot less golf during his time leading the US.
One said: "Trump has played approximately 2.6 times more golf than Obama has at this point in their presidencies. No gaslighting will change that!".
Another alleged: "Obama played 306 rounds of golf in 8 years. Trump has been on vacation and/or golfing 369 days in 4 years."
Ms O'Donnell added to the topic and tweeted: "Brief video clip from the president’s golf outing.
"The course is the only place he gets to drive himself. Secret Service positioned nearby. The caddie holding on in back."
