Donald's Trump niece who wrote tell all book set to appear on RTE's Late Late Show

Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump has been announced as one of the main guests on The Late Late Show tomorrow.

Following the programme’s triumphant return to our screens last week – pulling in over half a million viewers – host Ryan Tubridy announced the American as one of many guests set to join him.

Lifting the lid on this week’s edition, Tubs revealed the show will feature the niece of the US President ahead of the American election to discuss her new book Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.

The avid reader said: “I’m currently doing a little homework for The Late Late Show this Friday.

“I shouldn’t really tell you this because it’s a little soon but we will be interviewing Mary Trump, author of this book about her uncle Donald.

“That’s right. It’s quite the story. She gets right under his skin.”

The producers also revealed Stolen City band member and special needs assistant Dave McCabe, who inspired listeners on the host’s RTE Radio 1 show with his upbeat attitude following a leukaemia diagnosis on March 6, will also be a guest.

The 24-year-old said he felt 2020 was going to be the group’s year and that
he was staying positive despite his illness and the challenges facing the music industry in the wake of the Covid-19 emergency.

Listeners contacted the show following the interview to sing Dave’s praises and to share the lift he had given them in their lives through his story.

  • The Late Late Show is on RTE One on Friday at 9.35pm.
