Donald Parham is easily Redskins’ tallest player

The Washington Redskins got quite the interesting player with Donald Parham.

Parham came over via free agency during OTAs and really didn’t take long to make an impact, even showing up big on a connection or two with Dwayne Haskins.

The team’s official website just noted he’s by far the Redskins’ tallest player at 6’8″ and threw out some other fun facts:

“His size and athleticism helped him dominate in his final collegiate season, averaging 146.6 yards on 9.4 receptions per game. These numbers led all FCS schools and powered Stetson to an eight-win season, its highest since 1951.”

Parham is the sort of developmental talent who can make a roster situation interesting. The Redskins still have Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis atop the depth chart. They also like Jeremy Sprinkle.

But if Parham can use his frame and traits well to stand out, it might give the Redskins some flexibility at the top. And if not, plenty of other teams have heard about Parham by now and will be keeping an eye on what he’s doing this summer and in the preseason.
