The Donabate-Portrane Summer Festival swim has been cancelled due to the weather.
The news comes as Met Eireann warns of thundery showers and flash flooding to hit the country.
The announcement was made on social media.
A spokesperson for the festival said: “It is with deep disappointment that we have to announce that our swim tomorrow evening will not be going ahead due to the weather.

“We are extremely grateful to Swim Ireland for their support of our Festival and I know they are as disappointed as we are.
“Still lots to do down on Portrane Green so please come down and support our festival.”

The four-day festival has been bringing together the two North County Dublin communities of Donabate and Portrane for over 10 years now.
It's packed full of fun, cultural activities and entertainment including some incredible acts on each day.
The festival kicked off yesterday in the Shoreline Hotel with Donabate & Portrane's Got Talent.
