Chelsea take on Southampton in the Premier League this afternoon, looking to build on the win against Brighton in their last league outing. Goals from Jorginho and Willian gave Frank Lampard's side a 2-0 win over the Seagulls, giving the Blues' boss his first home win since taking the role in the summer.
Chelsea also recorded a 2-1 midweek Champions League win over Lille, with Tammy Abraham and Willian finding the net.
A win for the Blues would take them level on points with Leicester City and Crystal Palace in third and fourth place of the Premier League, having picked up 14 points from the opening eight games.
In build up to the match, the club have posted a video of midfielder Ross Barkley's first goal for the club, which came against the Saints back in October 2018.
Barkley has gone onto score a further five goals for the Blues and has been a regular pick in the middle of the park for Lampard so far this season.
The midfielder has just one goal and no assists in all competitions so far this season, with the 25-year-old netting in the 7-1 Carabao Cup win over Grimsby Town.
Barkley also missed a crucial penalty in the Champions League defeat vs Valencia, and has received criticism from fans over his performances this season.
The club's video has prompted a response from Chelsea supporters, who have replied pleading with Lampard not to start Barkley against Southampton.
Lampard's starting lineup will be released around one hour before kick off.
