The DJ of Hamilton’s ROC nightclub will be streaming live from his home again this weekend.
Barry Munoz’s performances, which have already reached listeners worldwide, will kick off tonight at 7pm on his Facebook page.
He will then return at 5.30pm tomorrow on the same platform, bringing more music and lifting spirits during the coronavirus lockdown.
Barry, who lives in Airdrie, has been playing every weekend in ROC for the last two years and hopes this is a way to reach out to his regular clubbers.
He said: “I would normally play at least once every week anyway every Saturday in the main room in ROC which I’ve been doing for almost two years now.
“You get to know a lot of the same people in the club just from coming up to ask for songs and things like that.
“I still get the buzz from seeing people listening in, asking how I’m doing, asking for songs, and my children are in and out of the video helping me too which keeps everybody going.”
ROC have teamed up with Barry to ensure he reaches more listeners this weekend as well as those in his local area, with tonight’s performance linked with the Chapelhall People page on Facebook, along with the nightclub’s page.
