A security camera, upper right, is seen in a train car on the Yamanote Line for the first time. East Japan Railway Co. showed the camera to the media on Thursday, before the train carrying it goes into operation on Saturday. JR East plans to install security cameras in every train car on the Yamanote Line by spring 2020 in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. Each car will be equipped with four cameras placed near the doors.
