Don't look back in anger, Annie

Congratulations to BBC Radio 1's Annie Nightingale, who yesterday received a Guinness World Record – oooh! – as the world's longest-serving female DJ, having clocked up 40 years on the nation's second favourite. She was presented with the award by Liam Gallagher, who said (according to the BBC press release): "Annie is a true icon of British Radio. She's been on Radio 1 since before I was born. Good on her for getting this record. I hope she's still here in another 40 years!" Surely another Guinness World Record is in order – to the former Oasis man, for the most lucid sentence he has ever uttered.
