Liverpool fans have mixed emotions ahead of next weekend's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
Steven Gerrard brings his Villa team to Anfield on Saturday having beaten his former manager at Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers.
It will be the first time Gerrard that has faced the Reds as a manager and his new team are in red hot form since he arrived at Villa Park from Rangers midway through November.
Manchester City have been the only team to beat Villa since the Liverpool legend took charge of the club.
They defeated Brighton and Crystal Palace in Gerrard's opening two games before they edged out Rodgers' Leicester City side 2-1 this weekend.

The clash with Liverpool will be an emotional game for all involved, given it sees Gerrard returning to Merseyside, and fans have been left confused as to where they stand prior to kick-off.
While Reds want their team to win, a few are hoping the score is respectable as to not embarrass Gerrard too much.
After beating Leicester, Gerrard was asked if he had any sentimental thoughts about the trip to Anfield.
He said : "None, none at all. I just want to go there and try to win and take what we can. For us, we’re not competing with Liverpool, in terms of the level we’re both at, at the moment, but we’ll certainly go there and give it everything we’ve got."
