ACT Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith has slammed Prime Minister Scott Morrison for not wearing a mask during a Canberra press conference on Wednesday.
He has been in quarantine since leaving Sydney under an essential worker exemption.
"I have to say, I probably wouldn't have chosen, if I was the Prime Minister, to have a press conference without a mask on for that length of time," she said.
"In this situation, he is the person who is in quarantine, other than from the exemptions that have been made.
"[But] he's got advice from the Chief Medical Officer, he and his officer are interpreting that advice and that's a matter for his judgment."
Ms Stephen-Smith also warned any politicians heading to the capital for Parliament's sitting period from August 3 to stay away from the city's pubs and clubs.
"Please don't go out partying in the ACT," she said.
"My message to MPs, to senators and to their staff is if you're coming to the ACT please keep yourself to yourself as much as possible [and] maintain your physical distance with people who you don't work directly in an office with."
The ACT has not had any active COVID-19 cases in over a year.
Party leaders are currently in discussions with parliamentary and ACT health officials on how to prevent the sitting-week period from becoming a super-spreader event.
