Music quizzes are a excellent way to entertain the family this Christmas, so we've put together a special one with a twist for you and your loved ones to enjoy this festive period.
This 'Don't forget the lyric' quiz is a bit different to your average pub quiz and is guaranteed to get competitive.
So here's the rules, good luck and may the best team win!
- The 'quiz master' will read out/sing out the questions to both the Red and Green team
- Nominate a team captain for each team who will choose who will play each round.
- There are 3 points up for grabs each round: finishing the lyric, naming the song and naming the artist. However, musicals and movies categories have an extra point for naming the movie or musical.
- First team picks category from the list and the lyric is read aloud – only the nominated person can answer.
- If you pass, the opposing team will then be read the lyric and anyone can answer.
- If it is passed back to the first team, all team members can guess.
- If you are still unsure the opposing team will have the lyric sung to them.
- Winning team with the most points at the end of the game
