'Don't!' - Fans react as Gary Lineker mocks Arsenal ahead of Europa League clash with Vitoria

Arsenal are in action this afternoon (Wednesday) in the Europa League against Vitoria.

The Gunners are in Portugal to take on Vitoria in Guimaraes in Group F of the Europa League, with the game taking place today due to scheduling conflicts, as Portuguese police do not allow multiple teams from the Porto region to play on the same day due to security concerns.

As a result, Vitoria are planning to play all of their home matches in the Europa League on a Wednesday this season.

But the fact that Arsenal are in action on a Wednesday in Europe has prompted a tweet from former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker, which has in turn got some Gunners fans talking.

This is the first time Arsenal have played on a Wednesday in Europe since they last played in the Champions League, with the Gunners losing each of their last three fixtures in European competition not played on a Thursday, as highlighted by Opta in the tweet below.

And Lineker has sparked a reaction from some Arsenal fans with his tweet, with the BT Sport and Match of the Day host appearing to mock the Gunners on social networking website Twitter.

He said: "See Arsenal are playing today. A Wednesday game in Europe: such nostalgia."

Some Arsenal fans have been responding to Lineker's tweet, and unsurprisingly, they are not too happy.

Here's what some of them have been saying.
