A fast food chain is trying to get a pizza the action in Prestwick.
Dominos is moving into an abandoned restaurant in the town centre.
They won’t confirm it due to letting competitors know, but Post sources say it will win permission early in the New Year.
The franchise will move into the former Reds restaurant at The Cross.
It appears to be part of a new wave of Dominos carry-outs moving into smaller towns.
The application to South Ayrshire Council has been slightly delayed due to a process technicality and was withdrawn on Thursday. The site does not have any parking out the front for delivery cars and bikes. But there is a back entry via Kirk Street.
Spokeswoman Rachael Giles said: “Unfortunately we are unable to provide a comment on this.”
