Domino's worker reveals four things you might not know about the pizza chain

It's one of Britain's favourite pizza takeaways - and for good reason.

No-one can resist a Domino's Pizza with its stuffed crust and tons of different choices of toppings.

On just one day in December 2018 Domino's flogged 535,000 pizzas - equivalent to 12 a second over the course of a trading day, or one for every person in Leicester.

But like many workplaces, there are things that we don't know that happens behind the scenes.

A Domino's pizza employee spilled the beans with The Daily Star about what goes on behind the counter.

(Domino's)

1. Uncollected pizza is a cause for celebration

While one might think Domino's staff were a bit sick of pizza, apparently not.

When customers don't turn up to collect their cheese and tomato based treat, jubilant employees are allowed to take it home.

2. The online delivery tracker is not as smart as it seems

According to the Star's man on the inside, the tracker is mostly bluster.

They said: "There's no super-tech working this out. It's a guess at best, I'm afraid."

3. Staff know what you're going to order

Or at least they can have a good guess.

When you call up Domino's employees can access a list of your previous orders.

4. It pays to be friendly

If you're pals with a Domino's employee then get them to ring up on your behalf.

All staff receive a 50% discount.
