Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to rep Redskins in 40-yard dash tournament

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will join heavyweights like Alvin Kamara and other NFL stars in a 40-yard dash tournament this offseason.

The event, dubbed “40 Yards of Gold,” will compile some of the NFL’s fastest players to determine the age-old question players always try to answer: Who’s the fastest?

Rodgers-Cromartie joined the Redskins in March after they brought him out of retirement. He had hung up the cleats seven games into the season last year with Oakland.

According to Sports Illustrated, DRC ran a 4.33 at his combine in 2008, so it will be interesting to see how well his speed has held up after all these years.
