Dominik Szoboszlai 'private plane' tracked as Liverpool face transfer deadline

Football supporters are known for pulling out all the stops to find out what is going on with their favourite clubs when it comes to transfers.

Indeed, detective skills become heightened during the peak of the transfer market, too. A staple of the transfer window is the flight tracker, something that has been utilised for Jurgen Klopp, Darwin Nunez, and even the currently-linked Khephren Thuram.

And this has already started to happen with regards to Dominik Szoboszlai, who emerged this week as a target for the Reds' midfield rebuild.

A Twitter user by the name of Hungarian Football Xtra posted to the platform a single image featuring pictures and details of a private jet that had allegedly flown between Budapest and Liverpool on Thursday, June 29.

All of the above information appears to check out, with another website confirming the plane in question did in fact fly from Hungary into the North West earlier today.

This raises suspicion that talks are still ongoing between Liverpool chiefs and the midfielder's representatives, EM Sports Management, although does not confirm anything outright.

If a deal is to be brokered, the first hurdle is the Hungary international's complex release clause situation. There have been conflicting reports surrounding how long this is active, though one certainty is that it is set at £60million.

In addition, despite the difficulties posed by Liverpool's Europa League status, this is confirmed not to be an issue in the player's desire to play under Klopp's tutelage.

He would become the second midfield signing of the summer after Alexis Mac Allister, and in an unrelated move, youngster Fabio Carvalho is moving the opposite way to Saxony in a bid for more game time.
