Dominic McKay describes Celtic's season ticket sales as 'off the scale good'

Celtic's new chief executive Dominic McKay has raved about the progress of the club's season ticket sales.

McKay and new Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou met with the media this afternoon, as the Scottish press got their first opportunity to quiz the former Australia manager.

And after meeting with the mainstream media, both men made time for fan media outlets too, and after finishing last season a whopping 25 points behind bitter rivals Rangers, McKay was asked about how supporters have taken up the chance to snap up season tickets.

Perhaps surprisingly, McKay insisted things are going pretty well, as reported by several high profile Celtic Twitter accounts:

If Celtic's season ticket sales are indeed as impressive as McKay is making out, it'll be a massive boost to the Parkhead club's coffers, with every penny a prisoner following the hit endured during the coronavirus pandemic.

Postecoglou takes his first competitive game as Celtic gaffer on July 20, when his new side take on Danish cracks FC Midtjylland in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.
