Here are your Everton evening headlines for Thursday, November 10.

Manager makes transfer admission after Everton scouting mission

Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe has explained why he was in attendance to watch Everton’s young stars in action this week.

The Blues’ Under-21s faced Paris Saint-Germain in the Premier League International Cup on Wednesday night. Paul Tait’s side claimed a 2-1 win over the French club, with Tom Cannon netting both goals for Everton.

Cannon had only made his first-team debut 24 hours before scoring a brace for the Blues' youth team. The 19-year-old appeared as a late substitute in the Everton senior side's 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup.

Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to 'see a specialist in the next 24 hours' after reportedly picking up a shoulder injury last month.

The injury is another blow for the forward, who limped off during Saturday’s Premier League clash against Leicester City with a hamstring injury. The Blues lost the game 2-0 at Goodison Park and Calvert-Lewin was also left out of Gareth Southgate's England World Cup squad, which he named on Thursday afternoon.

According to a report by The Times , Calvert-Lewin will see a specialist in the next 24 hours to assess the extent of a dislocated shoulder. The report claims the forward picked up the injury when making his first start of the season against Newcastle United on October 19.
