Dominic Calvert-Lewin signs new long term Everton contract

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has signed a new contract at Everton.

And the deal keeps the Blues' top scorer at Goodison until 2025.

Calvert-Lewin has struck 13 goals in the Premier League so far this term with eight of those coming since Carlo Ancelotti took charge of the club.

The 22-year-old joined the Blues from Sheffield United in the summer of 2016 in a deal worth around £1.5m and after starting with the club's under-23s he quickly progressed to the first-team.

And today, Calvert-Lewin leads the line for Everton , wearing the No9 shirt, and heads up the club's scoring charts with 15 in all competitions.

Calvert-Lewin said: "This is a very proud day.

"It has been enjoyable for me since the start at Everton and I am enjoying every day coming into training and every minute on the football pitch."

His previous contract had Calvert-Lewin tied to Everton until the summer of 2023.

And his new deal comes in the same week Mason Holgate agreed fresh terms with the club.
