Dominic Calvert-Lewin's heartwarming gesture to young Everton fan after Crystal Palace game

Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin impressed in more ways than one against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

The young forward continued his strong form by scoring his side’s third goal in their 3-1 win over Roy Hodgson’s team.

Bernard handed the Blues a first half lead before Christian Benteke levelled for the visitors six minutes after the break.

But Richarlison restored Everton’s advantage before Calvert-Lewin completed the scoring from close-range with two minutes of normal time remaining.

After the final whistle had blown at Goodison, Calvert-Lewin showed heartwarming generosity as he gave away his shirt to a lucky Blues fan.

The youngster, who had ran onto the pitch at the end of the game to meet his heroes, had a brief chat with the 22-year-old before stewards headed over to the pair.

What happened next was an act of kindness as the former Sheffield United man presented the Everton fan with his top.

The adorable moment - which showed the supporter clutching the No.9s shirt and returning to the crowd - was captured on video and shared on social media.

Posting on Instagram later in the day, Calvert-Lewin said: "No better feeling than this, my favourite moment of the day. Two stewards couldn’t stop the little man #SignHimUp"

The Blues now sit level on points with sixth-placed Sheffield United.

Carlo Ancelotti's men take on Arsenal in their next Premier League fixture on Sunday, February 23.
