Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Rodriguez both missing from Everton squad to face Burnley

Everton will be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for tonight’s game with Burnley as James Rodriguez fails to make the matchday squad.

The Blues No9 has suffered quadricep and toe injuries and Rafa Benitez looks to have called on Richarlison to deputise upfront.

Benitez confirmed: "He has broken his toe. He was training with problems and playing with pain.

"He had an injury the other day to his quadriceps and we have to wait two-to-three weeks, maybe more."

Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey both return to the starting line-up - Godfrey playing for the first time this season - in a move that appears to suggest Everton will play a back three, with Michael Keane.

Seamus Coleman is fit to play alongside Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Andros Townsend, and Demarai Gray.

Jean-Philippe Gbamin returns to the squad after missing the win over Brighton because of a dental abscess but, despite saying he was “ready”, there is place in the squad for Rodriguez.

Everton: Pickford; Mina, Keane, Godfrey; Coleman, Allan, Doucoure, Townsend, Gray, Digne; Richarlison.

Substitutes: Begovic, Kenny, Holgate, Iwobi, Gomes, Gordon, Gbamin, Davies, Rondon
