Domhnall Gleeson called out American host Stephen Colbert for mispronouncing his name during an appearance on his chat show.

"Well, you can't blame me, Irish names are impossible," Colbert quipped back in defence.

However, Gleeson hit back with a line that won applause from the crowds, as he stated: "I’m not gonna take this from a Colbert"

Meanwhile, one viewer, comedy writer Amy O'Connor, shared her amusement at the exchange on Twitter, captioning the clip: “Deeply obsessed with Domhnall Gleeson calling out Stephen Colbert for making a hames of the pronunciation of his name.”
