Domeanna Spell: FBI launches manhunt for missing teenage girl amid speculation she ran away with 47-year-old man

The FBI has joined a multi-agency manhunt to locate a missing teenage girl amid speculation she may be travelling with a 47-year-old man.

Investigators in Louisiana believe Domeanna Spell, 15, is travelling with Cory “Shane” Disotell in a silver 2003 Honda Civic.

She was last seen exiting her school bus on Thursday morning at the Port Barre High School at about 7:00 am local time.

Speculation has emerged that the teenager ran away with Mr Disotell after the DailyMail spoke to her sister, who said she may have changed her hair colour while using colour eye contacts to change her appearance.

Photos shared on social media show the young girl taking selfies with Mr Disotell, who is reportedly divorced.

The manhunt is a multiagency effort including the FBI, the Port Barre Police Department, the US Marshals Service and the Louisiana State Police.

“We are working diligently and tirelessly, leaving no stone unturned,” Port Barre Police Chief Deon Boudreaux said in a statement to local news channels KATC. “I’m extremely thankful for the help and support we are receiving not only from these agencies but also from the public that are reaching out to us with information.”

He added, “Family and friends of Domeanna expressed their love for her, miss her dearly and are praying for her safe return.”

The teenager’s sister also reportedly described Mr Disotell as “nobody” to Ms Spell, despite the 15-year-old’s ‘claims she is in love with’ him, according to the DailyMail report.

Investigators have urged anyone with information on the matter to call 1-800-225-5324.
