Dolphins waive former Boise State CB Tyler Horton

The Miami Dolphins have cut undrafted free agent cornerback Tyler Horton, the team announced Tuesday. Horton, who was a productive player for three seasons at Boise State University, will now have to look for an additional opportunity to make a 53-man roster. Horton logged 137 tackles, 5 interceptions and 24 passes defensed in 39 career starts with the Broncos.

The Dolphins did not announce a corresponding roster move, which would seem to indicate that the team is close to an agreement with 3rd-round draft selection Michael Deiter, the team’s lone unsigned draft selection from the 2019 NFL Draft.
