Dolphins training camp injury report for July 31st

The Miami Dolphins are back in full force for 2019 training camp — but their first week of practices haven’t gone without their fair share of bumps and bruises. The Dolphins had several players not active for today’s practice in addition to those who are currently designated to the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Miami’s remaining PUP players:

  • LB Mike Hull (undisclosed)
  • CB Cordrea Tankersley (knee)

In addition to Hull and Tankersley, Miami saw the following players sit out of today’s action:

  • LB Kiko Alonso (undisclosed)
  • RB Kalen Ballage (undisclosed)
  • TE Clive Walford (undisclosed)

None of Alonso, Ballage or Walford’s injuries are considered serious. But one issue to watch for tomorrow is the status of WR Jakeem Grant‘s hamstring — he appeared to tweak it during today’s practice before returning to the practice field to observe the end of the session.

In some good news, the Dolphins activated veteran TE Dwayne Allen from the PUP list today — Allen strapped up the pads and participated in his first practice of camp without issue.
