Dolphins to interview Ravens assistant Anthony Weaver for DC Job

The Dolphins are searching for a new defensive coordinator after agreeing to part ways with Vic Fangio after just one season. Miami’s defense finished the 2023 regular season ranked No. 10 in total yards allowed per game, No. 22 in points allowed, No. 15 in passing, No. 7 in rushing, No. 20 in third-down efficiency and No. 28 in red zone efficiency.

Fangio moved onto to the Philadelphia Eagles, and Miami will retool with another play-caller.

The search for finding a new defensive coordinator has begun, and Ravens defensive line coach Anthony Weaver is on the list.

Weaver joined the Ravens staff in 2021 after previously coaching with the Texans, Browns, Bills, and Jets, following a seven-year NFL career spent with Houston and Baltimore.

Weaver played for the Texans and Ravens during his seven years as an NFL pass rusher.
