The Ohio State pro day was yesterday and by all accounts, Buckeye quarterback Dwayne Haskins had a great day throwing the football. That should come to the surprise of absolutely no one, given Haskins’ natural abilities as a passer.
Chris Grier was in Columbus for the festivities, but it seems as though the Dolphins conglomerate will be extending their stay. They’ve set up a private workout while in Columbus to further gauge a potential fit with Haskins.
It isn’t abnormal operating procedure. But it is a great job of keeping the rest of the league off the scent of Miami’s intentions, as they continue to work towards a fresh face under center.
Is 2020 really the year for the Dolphins? Or would they pull the trigger should Haskins be on the board.
The best way to keep teams guessing is to make it feel as though anything (and everything) is a possible outcome. So far, so good.
