The dead period of the NFL calendar is officially over for the Miami Dolphins. Miami’s slew of rookies are due in Davie today for their first day at the team facilities — signifying the start of Miami’s 2019 training camp calendar.
The veterans are not due in house for another few days, the Dolphins’ more experienced members are due to report on Wednesday, July 24th. The team will waste little time opening their doors to the public, as the Dolphins’ first open practice takes place on Thursday, July 25th.
The competition, just like the weather, is expected to heat up — Miami has numerous starting positions ripe for the taking. And after a long lull in the action, the Dolphins will be pushing the pedal to the metal as they look for clarity up and down the depth chart.
