The New England Patriots may have recorded a 21-11 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, but that was not the only excitement involved with this game.
Following the game, quarterback Cam Newton and some Dolphins players began to talk trash, push and shove. Miami players were trying to grab his chain, which led to Newton getting into a bit of dustup. Newton explained his behavior on Instagram, and a couple of the Dolphins players responded to the post. Miami defensive end Shaq Lawson and defensive tackle required Davis both took objection to Newton’s explanation.
“We don’t won’t that weak (expletive) chain,” Lawson wrote.
“Man ain’t nobody want your fake (expletive) chains (expletive) was weak anyway 😂,” Davis wrote.
It’s safe to say that there is no love lost between either of these teams. The next matchup between these two comes on December 20. We’ll have to see if the bad blood carries over between now and then.
