Dolphins release updated depth chart for Week 2 of the preseason

The Miami Dolphins have released their updated 2019 depth chart — and quite frankly, you shouldn’t care one bit about it. Why? Because despite strong performances from players like WR Preston Williams and poor performances from others last Thursday night, there’s been essentially no changes to the chart.

The Dolphins are still listing Jesse Davis as the first-string right guard — while Davis has actually been serving as the starting right tackle since the day former offensive line coach Pat Flaherty was relieved of his duties. Receiver Preston Williams is still listed as a 3rd-string player.

Injured players like Raekwon McMillan and Kiko Alonso litter the first team defense, to boot. And so yes — the Dolphins have updated their depth chart for the week. But the storylines playing out in Davie — or technically this week in Tampa — aren’t accurately being detailed in the process.
