Dolphins receiver Albert Wilson on his hip rehab: “I’m 100”

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson was handled with care during Miami’s offseason training regiment. Wilson’s on the field participation was selective — he did not partake in much of the standard work that his teammates were pushing through as he continues to rehab the hip injury that ended his 2018 season.

But there’s good news from the man himself. Wilson has declared himself 100 percent according to CBS12 in West Palm Beach. Wilson was recognized on Friday night for some of his own community service contributions, honored as a “community hero” by ‘The Eckerd Connects’ Project Bridge for his work with foster care children.

During his time at the event, Wilson spoke about his recovery from the hip injury that ended his 2018 season prematurely.

“I’ve been outstanding with everything they’ve asked me to do, every test they’ve wanted me to take I’ve been right on track so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be out there week one,” said Wilson. “I’m 100 (percent), I’m ready to go in when they give me the OK.”

With the Dolphins entering a bit of quiet time before the start of training camp, a little bit of good news from the speedy Wilson should help pass the time.
