Dolphins re-sign linebacker Mike Hull

After a few days of scouting college quarterbacks, it’s back to business for the Miami Dolphins. The team agreed to terms with former Penn State product Mike Hull, who has spent the last four seasons with the Dolphins.

Hull, who was a restricted free agent but did not command a tender from the team, has only a handful of starts under his belt but has been a constant fixture as depth ever since he joined the team in 2015.

The peak of Hull’s career thus far came in 2017, in which he played all 16 games, starting 3. Hull logged a personal 35 tackles on the year that season before getting hurt in the 2018 pre-season. Hull was eventually designated to return and played primarily special teams for the Dolphins in the second half of 2018.

Hull’s contract for 2019 is a one-year deal, the finances of the deal were not made immediately available.
