Dolphins RBs Myles Gaskin, Matt Breida miss practice; Patrick Laird limited

The Miami Dolphins released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday and it was a long one. 12 players were listed on Wednesday, although eight were full participants.

However, their running back room has taken a hit. Two backs were unable to practice and one was limited.

Starter Myles Gaskin, who is expected to miss three weeks, did not practice because of his knee injury. Matt Breida, who was expected to replace Gaskin in the starting lineup, also did not practice on Wednesday. He has a hamstring injury. Gaskin and Breida account for 137 of Miami’s 163 non-quarterback rushing attempts.

Yet another running back, Patrick Laird, was limited with an ankle injury. Cornerback Jamal Perry (foot) was also limited.

Eight other players were listed as full participants.
