MIAMI — The Dolphins placed running back Salvon Ahmed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday because of a positive test, becoming the second Dolphin in as many days to land on the list.
According to a source, Ahmed is vaccinated.
Fellow back Myles Gaskin was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday after reportedly testing positive for the virus. According to NFL Network, Gaskin is also vaccinated.
Players who test positive and are vaccinated must return two negative tests at least 24 hours apart to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
The Dolphins will host the New York Jets on Jan. 19.
