Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa ruled OUT for Sunday vs. Bills

With just days before their first postseason game since 2016, the Miami Dolphins still don’t know exactly who their starting quarterback will be against the Buffalo Bills, as Skylar Thompson is currently prepping for the job, but Teddy Bridgewater could fill in.

However, the only thing that’s known right now is that Tua Tagovailoa, who has been in concussion protocol since sustaining a hit to the head against the Green Bay Packers, won’t be available, as head coach Mike McDaniel ruled him out on Wednesday.

Tagovailoa hasn’t been cleared to return to football activities with his teammates, and with this situation being more delicate to the number of head injuries he’s suffered this season, it’s unclear if the team would even let him play once he is cleared.

For now, Thompson looks like he’s going to start the third game of his rookie season, and he’ll have a lot of pressure on his shoulders.
