Dolphins push back against rumors of players asking to be traded

How bad was yesterday’s 59-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Miami? It wasn’t more than a few hours after the game in which rumors began to arise that there were some Miami Dolphins players who called up their agents after the game and instructed them to orchestrate a trade out of Miami.

It’d be kind of hard to blame them in the aftermath of such a pitiful performance, if they did. The offensive line didn’t do much for Ryan Fitzpatrick and the team fell so far behind so quickly that the Dolphins never really afforded themselves the chance to run the football. So while the Dolphins may not have any players who they’ve formally heard from to request a trade, don’t be surprised if they do — sooner rather than later. It’s apparent that the Dolphins players see the writing on the wall, and they’re going to treat this season just like the fans:

Let’s just get this over with.
