Dolphins in talks to have joint practices with Buccaneers

Some interesting news out of the Bay area, as new Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians shared that his Buccaneers are in talks with the Dolphins to host a set of joint practices between the two squads this summer.

The Dolphins and Bucs are set to play this year in the preseason, as they often do. But these two new coaches are looking to add some extra hitting between the teams in the build-up to the game.

The benefits of mutual practices aren’t exact or scientific, but they certainly do help to break up the monotony of hammering on your own teammates for all of training camp and the pre-season.

With the Dolphins intently looking at 2019 as their year to set the foundation, they’ll be hoping and looking for as many angles and environments as possible to evaluate their roster.

A few days of looking at them against some of the competition could be quite a useful tool in this regard.
