Dolphins have parted ways with coach Brian Flores

The Miami Dolphins finished off their 2021 season with a win over the New England Patriots to secure a winning season, the second in three years under head coach Brian Flores.

These results were apparently not enough for Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, as Brian Flores has been let go, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The news comes as a bit of a shock considering the turn around that Miami had in the second half of the season, winning eight of their last nine contests.

Flores finishes his Dolphins tenure with a 24-25 record, as they failed to make the playoffs in any of his three seasons.

The Dolphins will now begin their head coaching search along with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and likely others.
