Dolphins Hall of Famer Jason Taylor joins broadcasting team

You often hear of professional football players struggling to find their way in life after football. After so many years of only knowing one thing — the grind of an NFL season — it can be hard to calibrate and find new passions and pursuits. That isn’t the case for Hall of Fame defensive end Jason Taylor.

Taylor has thrived in his career after football — and he’s doing so by staying close to the game. Taylor, who is also an assistant high school coach in South Florida, is getting back into the broadcast booth this summer. He’ll be covering the team that he thrived with for so many seasons — the Miami Dolphins.

This news comes from Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, outlining the details of Taylor’s return to the broadcast booth after serving as a game analyst for Westwood One’s coverage of Sunday Night Football for each of the past two seasons.

Taylor’s new gig will place him in the booth for CBS-4’s coverage of the Dolphins’ preseason contests against the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints next month.
