Dolphins are signing former Raiders FB Alec Ingold

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to a lot of deals prior to the start of the league year, and thus, the beginning of free agency.

Now, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Dolphins are signing fullback Alec Ingold to a two-year deal worth up to $7.5 million. The fullback was a restricted free agent to start the offseason, but he didn’t receive a tender from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Ingold, 25, had spent the last three seasons with the Raiders, recording 28 receptions for 239 yards and three touchdowns in the passing game as well as 22 rushing yards.

The former Wisconsin Badger is coming off a torn ACL that he suffered during Las Vegas’ Week 10 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, but he’s expected to make a full recovery.
