Wheelchair-friendly mats have been installed at a Dublin beach in a bid to make it more accessible.
The blue mats have been installed by Dublin City Council at Dollymount Strand.
These mats will give wheelchair and scooter users greater access to the North Bull Island Nature Reserve and beach areas.
Sharing a picture of the mats in use by wheelchair user Patrick Greville, a spokesperson for the Dublin City Council said on Twitter: "Delighted to announce the launch of new wheelchair-friendly mats at Dollymount Strand today.
"The beach mats will provide wheelchair and scooter users with greater access to the North Bull Island Nature Reserve and beach areas."
